Latest Info from HUD (2/19/2004)

HUD issued a letter to all approved mortgagees on January 22, 2004 regarding the use of the form HUD-92564-CN "For Your Protection: Get a Home Inspection". The letter indicates that this form is now required for to be submitted by the mortgage lender for all FHA insured cases.  This form must be signed on or before the date the sales contract is executed.  For more information, please refer to the word document link to the right "Letter from HUD".  You may also review the "For Your Protection..." pdf document linked at the right.

This is important to Home Inspector Professionals because the "For Your Protection.." document recommends that all homes be tested for radon.
