Simultaneous Testing. Two similar test devices are used in the
same location for the same time period (at least 48 hours). If the
average is 4 pCi/L or more, mitigation is recommended.
3.
Single Test. Radon data is collected using a continuous radon
monitor that integrates and records radon data hourly for at least 48 hours.
If the average is 4 pCi/L or more, mitigation is recommended.
Use a
radon measurement professional who participates
in a Radon Measurement Proficiency Program to conduct the radon test.
