The NC Radon Program Does NOT endorse any of
these web sites. This is provided as a resource to citizens of NC to
help find information about "Do-it-yourself" Radon Test Kits on the web.
Test devices might also be available from some local hardware stores or
other retail outlets, but be sure to read the package so you know what
you’re getting!
Many test kits include the test device, postage to mail it back to the
lab, and the fees for having the device analyzed and a report sent back to
you. But not all test kits include these services in the price.
Be sure to read the directions carefully to get accurate results and to
determine whether the analysis/lab/mailing fees are included.
If you prefer to hire
a professional testing service, contact your local health department and
request a copy of the Radon Measurement Service Providers list or visit
the Radon Testers
page. |
